Moonlit Moss Studio

Nature-inspired stained glass, photography, and handmade art from the Kootenays.

Nature-inspired collage featuring moss and fern macro photography alongside handmade stained glass artwork, including an iridescent floral panel and a moon-shaped stained glass nightlight.

A Creative Studio Inspired by Nature, Light & Whimsy

Moonlit Moss Studio began during a season of slowing down- a return to creativity, nature, and making things slowly by hand.

Inspired by the forests, mountains, lakes, and shifting light of the Kootenays, my work explores texture, color, atmosphere, and the quiet magic found in nature.

From stained glass to macro photography and future handmade creations, each piece is rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and a love for the small details that make the world feel alive.

Handmade, One Piece at a Time

Every piece is carefully made by hand, from selecting glass and cutting each shape to soldering, finishing, and polishing.

One of my favorite things about stained glass is the way it changes throughout the day. Light moves through the glass differently with every season, every window, and every angle.

No two pieces are ever exactly the same, and those small variations are part of what make handmade art feel special.

A Little More About Me

I’ve always been drawn to creativity, nature, and the tiny details most people pass by, moss growing along trees, shifting reflections on water, wildflowers, weathered textures, and the way light changes a space.

Photography has long been one of my favorite creative outlets, especially macro photography and capturing small moments in nature. That same love of light, color, and texture is what eventually led me to stained glass.

Creating has become a way for me to slow down, reconnect with myself, and build a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and inspired by the natural world around me.

My hope is that these pieces bring a little bit of calm, wonder, warmth, and whimsy into your space too.

Find me at local markets around the Arrow Lakes this season.

I’ll be bringing stained glass nightlights, suncatchers, plant stakes, and one-of-a-kind pieces — each one handmade and slightly different.

Bring a little light into your space.
